Happy Saturday!

 Hello, Tommy Ton. He is always inspiration when I need it most. Here are five of my favorites from him lately. 

My macbook decided to stop working on me and had to be sent to Apple. That can be thanked for the lack of posting lately. I don't know what to do with myself! It's like I had to hand my whole world over.. ahhh. Praying that it comes back sometime very soon. Until I fly back home Monday, I am using my cousin's computer so I won't have blogging withdrawals too badly. Have a good rest of the weekend, everyone!

FISHTAIL

I have been trying and trying to master the art of the fishtail braid. Still haven't gotten there yet, even after many youtube videos. Oh well. My dream would be to have a personal hairstylist when I wake up every morning, but who wouldn't love that? I just don't have the patience to do anything special with my hair.

TEXAS REALLY IS PRETTY

 My little cousin and I went over to this park after getting some much needed iced coffee tonight. It has become my new favorite place here in McKinney. Just wishing I experienced it sooner. Everyone says Texas is not that pretty, but I think the view there proves that statement wrong. 

One week until I am back home. Getting super excited!

STAY OR GO?

 Look at that ugly, dead grass. Cannot wait to see the real green grass back home! I enjoyed my days off this past week and found an amazing antique mall that had the biggest selection of jewelry I have ever seen. It was seriously heaven. Now I kinda wish I was staying in Texas, just for that.

TASTE OF HOME

Last week, I spent an afternoon at Watters Creek in Allen. Finally getting around to sharing the photos. It was such a cute little area of shops, restaurants, and apartments. I see a lot of these types of places around here in Texas. Jealous of the people living there. I was so happy to taste a little bit of home with the very green grass and scenery. Check out the quote from Mother Teresa they had against the brick through one of the walkways. There were several other quotes, but I chose my favorite to show you. I found some trendy boutiques and a coffee shop, of course! 

Less than two weeks until I am headed back to the East Coast -- I am trying to hold in my excitement. Until then, planning to enjoy Texas with the time off from my internship that I have.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT A THING

It's been four days since my last post -- not liking this at all. I was trapped inside working at Nordstrom's anniversary sale since Thursday as a part of my internship. Have any of you shopped it yet?

 I came to Dallas with two maxi skirts packed in my suitcase, and uhh.. I am leaving with ten. Pretty sure I have found my favorite summer piece that has overtaken my wardrobe. So excited to wear them into the fall too! Totally dreaming of the fall weather already. Now I just have to make it two and half more weeks without buying another!

We've all seen her. From the design interns that wobble down 7th Avenue to the cream of the fashion blogger crop. On fashion Tumblr's everywhere. In green, blue, yellow, suede, fur, glitter and even denim. But lately they've been popping up on more than just the fashion flock. So I have to ask, who stole my Litas!
